Campaign Story
Sophie Louise Chandler born on the 10th Feburary 1992 sadly lost her long and brave battle with cancer on the 1st November 2013 at the young age of just 21
Ive set up this page for anyone that can donate money to give her the best possible send off, she really does deserve it. Please remember every little helps.
We are currently in the process of organising a fundraising event selling cakes, teas coffees etc with a raffle and more. Also arranging a girls football match for hopefully this Saturday.

All girls football match.
Update posted by Tarla at 05:26 amSo the charity all girls football match still took place yesterday despite the awfull weather! Im really pleased to say the day went extrememly well and we managed to raise £531.39p. Massive thankyou to everyone that took part, all the helpers and to everyone who came to support us girls!

We read about Sophie today in the Observer. Although we did not know her she was clearly an inspiration and loved very much. My 10yr old wanted to donate his pocket money, I know it's not much but he said he hopes it helps go towards Sophie's send off that she so deserves. xxx

I was very sorry to hear Sophie had passed away at such a young age. I have 2 daughters of my own and would be devastated if either of them was taken before they'd had a chance to go out in the world and make a life for themselves. I was also sad to discover fundraising was needed to pay for her funeral. Sadly my donation isn't very much but I hope it helps. I lost both my parents in the last few years and know how expensive it is to provide even the simplest of funerals.
